April 15: Khar’kov – Belgorod (RUS)

Good morning Khar'kov
Khar'kov city
Russische grens / Russian border
Pasport control
Passing the Russian border only took us 6 hours. Today we drove in total 86km. 48 from Charkov to the border with Russia, where we patiently waited 2 hours in line (outside temperature 3dgrC) for immigration and then filed for another 4 hours our bike 'declarations'. Problem was that both Ténérés are registered in Johan's name. We will spare you the Russian bureaucratic logic procedures. Finally when we managed to tick the correct boxes we were released to drive the last 40km in the SNOW.

Johan and Peter checked in a luxury double room, whereby Carl had to sleep in a single room which urgently is in need of a thorough renovation and some pest control.

Hi, guys! this is Alexander from Voronezh! how are you there??? as a way to Saratov? For rodney! Your crazy travelers spent the night with me! With them all well. They have a good mood. I did everything I could to them like in Voronezh! Sorry for the bad English.
