Voor onze banden kunnen we rekenen op de steun en medewerking van METZLER. Deze professionele mensen hebben ons geadviseerd betreffende bandenkeuze. Aangezien het overgrote deel van onze lange reis over verharde wegen zal gaan, hebben zij ons hun “TOURANCE EXP” banden aangeraden. Deze uitvoering geeft op normaal verharde wegen iets meer comfort en veiligheid ten opzichte van de gewone “TOURANCE” uitvoering, zonder daarbij veel in te boeten qua slijtage. Onze +/- 20.000km lange trip met zwaar geladen motoren zal een zware beproeving en uitstekende slijtage test zijn voor onze “Metzler rubbers”. De banden slijtage zal door ons nauwkeurig opgevolgd worden. Voor eventuele banden wissels kunnen we tevens rekenen op hun wereldwijde service.
